We are delighted to announce that David Kinney will be joining the Department of Philosophy in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor. Kinney, who earned his PhD in Philosophy at the London School of Economics, works in cognitive science, philosophy of science, and formal epistemology, with a primary focus on intuitive and scientific modes of causal cognition. His work has appeared in Philosophy of Science, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, and Synthese, among other venues. Welcome, Professor Kinney!
